Kelly-Johnson
Post 90
Veterans Strengthening America.
American Legion Kelly-Johnson Post 90 was founded in the aftermath of the First World War as an organization for Ashland area veterans of the conflict, and continues to serve our community over a century later.
Our post is named for Roy W. Kelly, who was killed in action in France during the First World War in 1918, as well as Allan Johnson, who was killed about a destroyer in the Pacific during the Second World War in 1942.
Founded in 1919 as a Federally chartered Veteran’s Service Organization, the American Legion includes Departments for all fifty states as well as the District of Columbia, US Overseas Territories, France and the Philippines. It remains a powerful national advocacy group for veterans issues as well as a pillar of community service.
Membership in the American Legion is open to all active US Armed Forces personnel as well as all honorably discharged veterans who have served since December 7, 1941.
If you or someone you know may be eligible for membership and wishes to join our ranks, do not hesitate to contact us!
